４月16日(日)雨模様の中、フィリピンに送る荷造りボランティアを行ったことをご報告いたします。みんなで持ち寄った支援物資をまごころ込めて箱詰め。途中から雨が強くなり、室内へ移動して国際交流と支援活動紹介。On April 16th (Sun), Asian Kids Care in JAPAN carried out a volunteer packing event to send to the Philippines in the rain. We packed the relief supplies into three boxes with sincerity love. Halfway through the event, the rain started to intensify, so we moved indoors and introduced AKC’s support activities as well as international exchanges.

２月上旬にフィリピン・ミンダナオ島を訪問。現地メンバーと一緒に学校、家庭、教会、教育委員会等で支援物資を配布。学校に行けない子が約3割いる現状の中、国境・文化・言語等の壁を越え連携して貧しい子供たちをサポート。彼らが日本の国旗を持って手作りメダルをプレゼントしてくれたこと、感謝の手紙を読んでくれて思わずハグしたこと、一人一人は小さくてもみんなで協力すれば大きな支援の輪ができると実感したこと等を参加者に報告。By the way, I visited Mindanao Island in the Philippines in February. Together with AKC members, we distributed relief supplies at schools, homes, churches, etc. In the current situation where about 30% of children cannot go to school, we all work together to support poor children.I told the participants that they gave me handmade medals, and that I hugged them unintentionally when they read a letter of thanks. Each of us is a small power, but if we all work together, we can become a big power and help many children.

子供たちが学校に行って夢を実現し、自立して家族と地域を支え、将来支援リーダーに成長することを願っています。AKC hopes that these children will go to school, realize their dreams, become independent, support their families, and grow into community support leaders.May God bless you. Thanks to the many collaborators.
