「ブータンってどんな国？」 ブータンから来日したレキさんの説明に、子供たちは「幸せの国」の実情を知って驚きの表情。

2月16日(日)の寒空の中、松山市や松前町の中学生・高校生等の約40名が集い、支援物資の荷造りボランティアを実施致しました。

ブータンは富士山より高い標高での厳しい自然環境、電気やガス等のインフラも未整備、学校・病院・商店も近くになく、毎日薪拾い等の手伝いをして家族を助ける子供たち。こうした暮らしの中で、日本から届けられた文房具・楽器・衣類・長靴等を手に笑顔になり、宝物のように大切にして学校(義務教育制度はない)に行くきっかけとなって役立っているとのことです。

“What kind of country is Bhutan?” Japanese children were surprised to learn about the reality of the “country of happiness” from the explanation given by Reki, who came from Bhutan. On Sunday, February 16th, NGO Asian Kids Care gathered about 40 junior and senior high school students as volunteers to bring and send relief supplies outdoors in the winter. The children of Bhutan live in a harsh natural environment at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, with no electricity or gas, and no schools, hospitals, or stores nearby, and they help out by collecting firewood every day. In this life, they smile as they hold the stationery, musical instruments, clothes, boots, etc. delivered from Japan, and they cherish them like treasures.

みんなでレキさんファミリーと一緒にまごころ込めて支援物資の荷造りをし、ブータンの子供たちにレキさんの弟妹を通して贈ります。この荷物が、彼らの将来に希望と幸せと平和をもたらすことを願っています。

最後に民族衣装(キラ)に着替えたレキさんからブータンを代表してお礼の言葉があり、私たちもゾンカ語で「クズザンポーラ(こんにちは)、 カディンチェラ(ありがとう)」のビデオレターを撮影して荷物と一緒に現地に届けます。皆様のご協力を心から感謝します。

Everyone will pack with love and sincerity together with Mrs. Leki’s family and present the relief supplies to the children of Bhutan. AKC hopes that these will bring hope, happiness, and peace to their future. At the end, Mrs. Leki, who had changed into her traditional dress (Kira), gave a speech of thanks on behalf of the Bhutanese people, and we filmed a video letter saying “Kuzuzangpo (hello), Ka drin chhe (thank you)” in Dzongkha, which we delivered to Bhutan along with the luggage.
